Our splash club sessions are now available to book online. Please book in advance where possible.
Session dates will be released each Sunday afternoon at 16:00 for the following Tuesday.
Please note the places are per person and not per boat.
The following COVID-19 preventative measures are in place to keep you, your family and others safe.
Do not attend if you have coronavirus symptoms or if someone in your household is infected.
Cars must be parked in the main Aquadrome car park. Only those bringing heavy equipment may drive into the park. We ask that spectators are limited to those accompanying juniors and please NO Pets.
Although the Changing Rooms are now open, we would ask that you continue to arrive changed and ready to go on the water. This will help us with the cleaning routines needed to allow us to open the Changing Rooms. We will provide storage for your sailing bag.
On arrival, please report to the warden at the galley where you will be asked to sign in. There is an NHS Track and Trace QR Code should you wish to use it. We do now have contactless payment available and we prefer not to accept cash for any purchases such as chandlery.
BLYM wetsuits and waterproofs are available and will be washed and disinfected following the session. Please bring your own buoyancy aid if you have one or BLYM’s will be available should this not be possible.
In bad weather conditions, the warden may restrict boats available. Please understand that we have to minimise the risk of a rescue being required.
Safety cover will be supplied with teams adopting COVID-19 guidelines. Should you need to be retrieved and no longer wish to sail, the safety team will ask you to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines on social distancing whilst in transit back to the jetty where you can retrieve your boat. Should you need medical assistance this will work in the same way.
If you are unable to adhere to these arrangements please do not attend. If you break these arrangements you may also risk being asked to leave the site.
These arrangements are subject to change to reflect any government or RYA updates to their guidance.
