Ready to take your sailing to the next level? Want to boost your sailing skills?
Come down and join us for our new Sunday Social Racing program. Our new program is perfect for everyone whether you're an absolute beginner or a veteran Sunday racer.
So, what are the changes? We are excited to announce we will be bringing more coaching into our racing with our new Race Briefings. The new briefings will focus on understanding one specific aspect of racing per week. i.e. a start sequence or a specific rule. This is to support our racers who have no formal racing experience. Additionally, we will be running racing every Sunday.
We have lowered our entry requirements to anyone who has reached the minimum standard of RYA Youth Stage 3 or RYA Adult Level 2 to give even more people the opportunity to come down and race.
Starting late October will we starting our autumn race series. This will run over 6 weeks and at the end there will be two winners. Watch this space for more details.
Any questions please email firstname.lastname@example.org or pop down on a Sunday morning and we will be happy to help.

Which boats can I use?
We would like you to race in any sailing dinghy you feel comfortable in and as you gain experience, we will encourage you into faster more racing class dinghies. In the races we use a handicap system that considers the different speeds of boats give them a fair time penalty so results can be compared across dinghy classes. (The handicap system is based on the RYA Portsmouth Yardstick)
Can I sail my own boat?
If you would like to race your own boat, we would be happy for you to come down and race. Just email us at email@example.com to let us know.
