Junior taster sessions
We also have junior courses Messing About in Boats and Oppie Adventures, our short taster sessions for young people that builds confidence in and around boats and water. They will enjoy rides in powerboats, paddling in Oppies (small dinghies which are very stable) and going for a sail with one of our instructors at the helm. These fun packed short days are the ideal way to try something new during the school holidays.
Splash Club - opening of the 2019 Sailing Season
Our first day of general sailing will be on Saturday 2 March. Please come along to join us for the start of season sail, help with taking the fleet out of their winter storage in the morning and take a sail in the afternoon. We love to see you on Saturday and every Saturday throughout the year. Watch this space as we'll be publishing special events for members including BBQ days, quiz evenings and music events.
Fund Raising - don’t forget we still need help raising funds
We need fund raising for fit-out costs. You can help by buying a brick. When the new building is complete we will engrave "your" brick with your message, greeting or a name of your choice. What goes on the brick is up to you, but remember your message will be displayed inside the new clubhouse to inspire future generations.

IMPORTANT YOU NEED TO READ THIS - do you own a boat and is it in the BLYM Boat Park?
If you have a boat stored at BLYM and you've not been contacted yet, please help us and send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
We are performing an audit of all private and group boats stored at BLYM. We will be adding a contact name and contact details to your boat trolley to improve our ability to manage the park. We'll also make some updates to our website so that memberships with berths include a pre-arranged berth location. We've updated our Boat Park Policy to reflect these changes.
Unfortunately, we do have boats abandoned or unauthorised in our Boat Park and, as the Boat Park Policy states, we may need to take steps to remove, sell or dispose of boats and/or trailers.
See you at BLYM soon!
