Once you have reached Level 3 or Stage 4, why not try your hand at the delicate art of racing? This course is run over five days, giving you a comprehensive introduction to the racing rules and helping you to develop your skills to give you greater boat speed, understanding of tactics and strategies. Racing is a brilliant way to develop your sailing ability as you are forced to constantly adapt your sail controls to suit your conditions and do well. This leads to an intimate understanding of the dinghy and how to sail most efficiently, winning is wonderful but it's the accelerated improvement that competition brings about for all those involved that makes this such a great course to take.

RYA Recognition Information
This RYA course is held under the Bury Lake Young Mariners Recognised Training Centre at our base at the Rickmansworth Aquadrome. The maximum Instructor to Student Ratio is: 1:6 and the minimum duration for the course is 4 Days. The following material is provided to you as part of your course:
