Course Summary

A two day introduction to sailing designed to give juniors an taster of sailing as well as inspiring them to take up the sport further. Taught in Oppies (small, stable dinghies), this course aims to provide a fun way of learning the basics of sailing, through the medium of games and interesting on the water exercises. This fun packed two days is the ideal way to try something new during the summer holidays and is perfect for younger siblings who want to see what all the fuss is about for themselves.

• Rigging race
• Tacking
• Parts of a boat / parts of a sail
• Towing session
