RYA Adult Level 1
Course Summary
Level 1 is a two day introductory course for complete beginners, working through the basics of helming a boat, right through to sailing solo for the first time. The improvement seen in this course is great and most participants enjoy it so much that they extend their course to the full five days to complete Level 2 as well! A fantastic way to learn something new in a safe and supportive environment, which will kickstart your involvement with the club and sailing as a sport. Not only do we cover the practical aspect of sailing but the theory behind it, to give you a broad understanding of how and why the boat behaves as it does and we respond in a certain way.
