RYA Adult Level 2

Course Summary

Level 2 is a three day course for adults with limited previous experience or knowledge who wish to develop their skills. This course will take you from beginner to being a competent solo sailor by reinforcing previous skills and building upon those with further techniques and manoeuvres along the way. A fully enjoyable experience from start to finish, this course is about encouraging personal development and as with all of our courses is well structured to guarantee the best result for everybody.

Course Outline

• Rigging, launching, sailing in all directions.
• Capsize recovery and essential safety knowledge.

Ability After Course

• Able to sail and make decisions in good conditions

RYA Recognition Information

This RYA course is held under the Bury Lake Young Mariners Recognised Training Centre at our base at the Rickmansworth Aquadrome. The maximum Instructor to Student Ratio is: 1:6 and the minimum duration for the course is 2 Days. The following material is provided to you as part of your course:
