As an annual member, you receive access to our facilities and equipment during the General Sailing sessions, allowing you to participate in your favourite activities. Our well-maintained equipment and experienced wardens and instructors will be at your disposal. You have the flexibility to enjoy the water at your own pace and convenience.

In addition to General Sailing access, membership at Bury Lake Young Mariners offers a variety of exclusive benefits. Members can take advantage of discounted rates for courses, lessons, and equipment hire, making it more affordable to further develop their skills and try out new activities. Our highly qualified instructors will be available to provide expert guidance and support, helping members to progress and reach their full potential.

Membership Types

• Family Membership - covers all members of a Family.
• Individual Adult Membership - membership for one Adult.
• 14 - 25 Student Membership - for students between the ages of 14 and 25 whilst in full-time education.

Temporary Membership

BLYM offers a 3 month temporary membership upon completing a course, providing individuals access to General Sailing and equipment hire. Temporary membership however, does not grant course discounts. To take advantage of significant course discounts please consider one of the membership types above.

Please note: For insurance reasons we are unable to offer individual membership to those under 14. Under 14s can join as part of a family membership.

Benefits of Membership

• Members may attend BLYM General Sailing sessions - Saturdays, Wednesday Splash Club, school holidays and Bank Holidays
• You don't need your own private boat to go sailing - hire one of ours at incredible prices!
• We also hire out wetsuits and buoyancy aids - everything you need to go sailing  
• Full membership special events, expeditions, racing and other activities
• Berthing for privately owned boats

BLYM Boat Usage Fee

You can Apply for BLYM Membership on-line.

BLYM Membership is managed through an online profile. Members can access it anytime to handle their subscriptions and personal details. The membership is valid for a period of one year from the date you join. This means that your membership will automatically renew every year on the same date.
