Youth Squad Training

Course Summary

Join our racing youth squad, training monthly on Sundays with a view to competing in the NSSA National Youth Regatta in July (20-26th 2025). We are offering a programme of regular training every month on a Sunday, teaching the skills and knowledge they need to race competitively at national competitions. If you are interested the key word here is commitment, you need to be eager and able to attend the majority of training sessions. Ideally you will already be racing at the club although competent young sailors with at least one year consolidation since stage 3/level 2 would also be able to engage with the programme. Our focused boat classes will include Lasers (all rigs), Toppers, Vagos and Zests although other classes will be considered.

We will also be looking to parents to help with organisation, competition support and other duties along the way so please express your interest to the coaches or through the WhatsApp group. If you are interested please sign up for one of the dates in January to get started.
